My frog friend
I use the same faucet to wash out the automatic milker - yes that is what the bleach is for. There seems to be just one frog that hangs out waiting for either the left over milk or the flies that are attracted to the milk remnants. If you look really hard you can see … Continue reading My frog friend
The look of gratitude!!
Some of you may know that we have been having a little trouble with Harvey's drivers license... per the city of Haxtun in Phillips county (where he got the ticket) he didn't have one. Harvey and Peter came to move me from Haxtun to Kirk somewhere around the end of December. Harvey got a ticket … Continue reading The look of gratitude!!
When the house in Englewood was sold and I moved. Some of the stuff I found I never even knew we had. I lived there for 50 years but I guess the basement was just full of treasures. One of them was a flag. It was a United States of America flag. It had the … Continue reading July 4th

As I once more take to the computer to sooth my wounded pride. I have to confess, my eyesight is not what it use to be! I was out preparing the milking station. Strangest place you have had a conversation?
Where is the strangest place you have ever had a conversation? Behind the bleachers in school? Next to the produce isle “does this look fresh to you?” or maybe under the restrooms stall “Hey, sorry to bother you but I seem to be out of toilet paper over here, could you maybe give me some?” I admit that up to now that was the strangest place I had had a conversation.

OK, see the shinny new automatic milking machine in the lower right side… OK, now see the bucket placed under the udder, stealthily held by my wonderful Son Peter Moe! He had to hold it the cow kept kicking (Now we know why … Continue reading Milking Team
When my Son Peter came in the door I could tell that something was up. His face was looking concerned. His "get your camera and come out here". Gave me very little comfort. I knew that the clouds were getting darker, but we live in North-Eastern Colorado. I grabbed my new digital camera and followed … Continue reading Storm Chasers??
