Church v2

With the Easter eggs all being found (we hope) the ham cooked and the potato salad long gone, Our Church here in Kirk decided to have a FUNDAY SUNDAY. Holy week is very emotional. The young kids dressed up in funny stuff, and so did some of us older kids! I am hoping that at least some of the pictures came out… I wore a dress from the 80’s. Had various skits and readings of jokes.

I got two of the young men from church to help me in a “round robin” type of reading. Thank you Taylor and Jason(?!?!). The joke started with the best reasons for being a Christian. As you might guess some of them were pretty obvious.

1 – Under the same management for the last 2000 years!

2 – Soul Food served here.

3 -Tithe if you love Jesus! Anyone can honk.

4 – Don’t wait for the hearse to take you to church.

And my favorite was – Don’t give up. Moses was once a basket case!

Some of you who know me know that little voice most people have that says “You can think it just don’t say it!!” Well, I guess I was born with out it. Because as I finished reading, it and handed the page to the young man behind me. It dawned on me what that ment. I started laughing, and blurted out…. “I just got that one!” everybody in the church laughed more at me than the joke list but it was fun.

Great fun was had by all…. I hope anyway!!
